Molino Agostini: 3 Generations of Flour Artisan

My grandfather, Emidio, began the miller activity at the end of the Second World War. That period, with Italy to rebuild and the desire to start again, brought him to realize not only the mill but a pasta factory and an oil mill as well; then life events and his sons’ choices, led my father to inherit the miller activity. Today, I am the current Molino Agostini manager. I chose to convert the machinery to a bio dedicated mill, since 15 years ago, to be coherent with my grandfather and my family’s passion.

I wanted to be a Flour Artisan who respected:
- territory, drawing up farm contracts with local biological farms
- life, thanks to the safeguard of the biodiversity and looking for ancient native grains
- health, because the bio certification guarantees a chemical substances not employment, during all the productive processes’ steps.

Years later, I wanted to restore a whole line of pasta made with our organic wheat, and to create a new range of products, exclusively organic.
